The Objectives

a. To provide a fun and interesting outdoor learning experience for pupils.

b. To help pupils relate Mathematics to the outdoors and experience real-life mathematics around them.

The trails take the participants on a predetermined route with numerous stations where they will have to complete mathematical tasks. These trails offer them an opportunity to learn mathematics in fun way, with nature and man-made structures as the backdrop.

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring the excitement of real-world math into the classroom and bring the classroom into the real-world.

The Trails can be adapted to any mathematics topic in the Pri and Sec curriculum.

• Changi Airport

If schools have other venues in mind, we can also design a math trail specifically to suit the schools' requirements.
